West Ranch Football Defeated at Home Game Against Valencia

On Oct. 28 West Ranch varsity football team showed their support for Breast Cancer Awareness with their pink arm sweatbands, and the Wildcat fans dressed in pink for this special event.

The team fought hard through the first quarter, keeping it tied 7-7 for majority of the twelve minutes until Valencia caught a long pass leading to their second touchdown. The team didn’t back down. In the second quarter Valencia scored two more touchdowns, but a touchdown by Jovan Camacho excited the crowd. After that amazing play, the score was close at 14-28.

It was a tough game from then on as West Ranch didn’t score until early on in the fourth quarter, but at that point, Valencia was too far ahead. In the end, Valencia escaped with the win 56-21. Join the team next week in their home game against Golden Valley.
