When it comes to swimming, Ethan Holroyd has the experience. He has been swimming since the age of 11 and has made many fun memories since then, but these past four years at West Ranch have been the most memorable.

“The most memorable moment was seeing the hard work that the whole team has put in pay off by out-swimming all of our competitors,” said Holroyd.

As the captain of a vast program, Holroyd is already seen as a leader for the underclassmen, but, before he says his final goodbyes, he shares some final advice for future Wildcats.

“My advice to freshmen would be to take part in school activities,” said Holroyd. “Things like games, clubs, and rallies are what makes high school such a fun experience that will shape who you become in the future.”

Holroyd hopes to focus on his education at the University of Oregon, and, even though he will not continue to swim collegiately, the experience he has gained at West Ranch will stay with him forever.

Good luck Ethan, and remember: Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!
